OVSAM32 and HSV110
Hi,
I am having a bit off trouble with ovsam32 on the smaIII.
I have two hosts with Winha installed and those are discoverd by node manager.
I installed the version c dpi, configured the proxy.
It sees the eva but the LUN's are not visible either from the host of from the storage context in the tree pane.
I double checked passwords...
Any ideas ? it seems the EVA is not being seen correctly by ovsmom / snm.
Thanks,
Rmk

Re: OVSAM32 and HSV110
Hi Rocky,
You say you added the SMA as a proxy device in OVSAM - for ther password did you use the web agent password or the Windows 2000 password? It is necessary for you to use the web agent password, which is "administrator" without the inverted commas by default.
Fernando

Re: OVSAM32 and HSV110
Thanks,
Yes the passwords were set that way indeed.
Problems were different.
i tracked it down to host authentication.
Also i had a problem with multihomed issues.
OVSAM is nice, but it needs work ;-)

Re: OVSAM32 and HSV110
Did you deploy it from the SMA server or did you do a local install of the HA on the other servers. If you used the last option you should authenticate the HA.
