One HD on VA7110 not showing
HPUX 11.11i
VA7110 with CVSDM
When I launch CVSDM gui and click on JBOD2 enclosure, disk #12 is black (blank, does not show along with the rest of the disks). There's no green circle which I can click on to check status.
When I check the physical enclosure in the server room, it has a green light like the others.
What does this mean?

Re: One HD on VA7110 not showing
Leahi,
when you are in the Diagnostic Tab, what is the disk status ?
is that an existing disk that used to show up as an included disk ?
if so, the disk could have gone bad, if not some of these issues can be resolved by doing a soft restart.

Yes, the disk was there before. Just noticed it wasn't listing in armdsp -a last month.
Will do a restart and see what happens.
Already re-seated disk. No joy.
