Online Expansion function of P400 controlller is not available
Hi,
I've running a P400 controller in a non hp system with 3 sata drives in a raid5 config. Now I'd like to add another drive but there's no option for expansion in ACU or in RBSU.
The three drives and additonal drive are connected to port B and I've already tried the other port. The P400 does have 256MB cache and a battery connected.
How can I add the new drive to the existing array? Rightclicking on the drive isn't working neither as mentioned in help..
thnx, Marco

Re: Online Expansion function of P400 controlller is not available
Unfortunatly not, these topics do advice to upgrade to a battery backed write cache for enabling functions as online expansion. I allready have the battery connected.
