I have one LUN 200 gb.
I use this LUN for RAW access.
I can extend this LUN to 400 GB using EVA Cotnroler.
What will see kernel for new LUN.

Re: Online Lun Resize
You don't say what operating system you are using, but the safest way would be to reboot the system during which it will make a new inquiry.
Then it depends on your software if and how you can make use of the increased size. Hopefuly, this will not make any existing data unavailable...

Re: Online Lun Resize
You can use the Lun of 200 GB for raw access
You can not extend a LUN under HPUX.
Solution : create an extra LUN of 200 GB and add it to your volumegroup.
Lun's can be added online to hpux.
Use the follownig command's after the presentation of the LUN
ioscan -fnC disk
insf -e
ioscan -funC disk (to see the device file)
