P2000G3 Connectivity
Hi I know P2000 has both iSCSI and FC ports.
Now I want to connect 4 servers directly to FC port without SAN switch. iSCSI port I will connect to Cisco switch. 15 servers I will connect to thru iSCSI.Same storage is there in remote site also. Now I want to replicate the storage . P2000 has remote replication feature.
How I can replicate with current setup. Is it possible to replicate thru same iSCSI.???
I want to how these confiurations and replication do??

Re: P2000G3 Connectivity
Hello,
if you connect the GbE ports to a switch, you can use iSCSI over GbE for replication and server connectivity.
Regards,
Patrick

Re: P2000G3 Connectivity
Thanks for ur reply.. I want to know how I can configure this...
I will be using dual controller. So 4 ports are there.(iSCSI). All the 4 ports I will connect to my existing network.Which IPs should I give to the all iSCSI ports?
Any one or two port I have to use as a dedicated port for replication from the iSCSI pros???
I am working on the iSCSI first time.
Also I want to know how many servers using iSCSI I can connect to the storage???
