Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Possible to migrate from Raid0 to Raid1

All,

Is it possible to migrate from Raid0 to Raid1?
I am running DL380G4 with SA-6i internal drives.

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,

A similar question has been asked before, see here -> http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=884662

Basically you will need more unused space in the array before you can consider a migration.

It takes too long I rather use third party software to copy the partitions from the raid0 to raid1. It worked for me but I was wondering if there is other way doing it.

Thx,

Steve
