Problem with RAID6402 on ML370G4 or ML570G3
hi,
We have a performance problem with smart6402 or smart6404 on 2 differents servers (ML370G4 or ML 570G3).
After install of SCO OPENSERVER we have error message : "SCSI Bus speed downshifted".
We have upgraded Smart card, mother board and HDD to the last version of firmware.
We have changed all SCSI cables.
We have not any messages with a Smart 641 !
Have you some idea ?

Re: Problem with RAID6402 on ML370G4 or ML570G3
Hi,
Are all drives same speed?
How many drives do you have on each channel?
Any BBWC on the SA-641 not present on the 6400s?
You may find an answer by answering those questions, if not, then is some info we need in order to help you.
Regards.

Re: Problem with RAID6402 on ML370G4 or ML570G3
hi,
Thanks for your reply.
We have identified our problem which is due to diff├Г┬йrents identifications for a same type of HDD.
1st case : ML570 G3 with SMART6404/4 HDD 146 Go (15k).
2st case : ML370 G4 with SMART6402/2 HDD 146 Go (15k).
We have received 20 HDD from our distributor.
15 HDD MODEL BF1468B26B
5 HDD MODEL BF1468A4CC
We have the problems only with the 1st reference (B26B).
We have upgrade and downgrade firmware on those disks but the problems still occurs.
Regards.
