Problem with replaced Drive in 431 Controller
After a Disk Failure, in a 5 Disk ( 5*72 Gb ) Raid 5 Array on a Smart Array 431 Controller in a Proliant 1600, i replaced the drive. The new drive was immediately rebuilding, as it should, but after 100% completion, the Insight Manager showed the Process bar falling to 70% and after a couple of minutes, the drive was in "Ready to rebuild state". The Drive Led on this Disk was off. I tried it with another disk, but it was almost the same.
