Proliant 1600 server

this error message on server boot is being displayed.

"1777 - slot 2 drive array 1 proliant storage enclosure problem detected.

1. Verify all Cables if Properly connected
2. search for SCSI conflicts on the same channel
3. verify if there is no bent pins
4. pull all drives Out, Update all Firmware Clear NVRAM
5. See if system keep 1777 after NVRAM cleared
6. add Drives Restore SCU

Hi Kelvin,

It sounds like you ahve an external enclosure according to the error message. because POST error 1777 is associated to an external storage enclosure and this is the pssible reason
Cooling fan failure, internal temperature
alert or open side panel.

So,Inspect for cooling fan failure or open side panel on the external enclosure.
