Proliant 7000xeon 500 adding storage array UE

I would like to add 2 external storage array UE units to my proliant 7000 xeon 500 server.Do I have to add another array controler or do they connect to the 3100ES controler thats running the 3 internal drive bays? What type of cabeling do I need?

Hi,
Smart array 3100ES don't have external SCSI port,you need insert another array controller to configure external storage.

Thank you for your reply, I think I'll go with the Compaq 3200 Raid Controler.
