RSM script takes a long time to delete snapshot

Hi,

Im currently using an EVA 3000 with RSM that snapshots a Database once a day.

The problem is sometimes the deletion of the vdisk (280gbs/350gbs allocated) takes seconds and sometimes it takes up to a hour or more to delete.

The steps i take in the script are:
1. unpresent volume
2. deletestoragevolume(--snapshot)

Does any one have any idea why this is taking such a long time? Am I missing something?
should i be normalizing the snapshot first maybe?

Hi Roy,

sorry, i had the same problem but any solution... some snapshot were long to delete and others short... but they were created with the same job... stange thing.
