Re: Raid Manager level

I can't get your question.

There are volume managers, hardware RAIDs with management software and some more.

In your case (XP array), you asking about command view software?

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: Raid Manager level

/opt/HORCM/usr/bin/raidscan -h
/opt/HORCM/usr/bin/pairdisplay -h

The latest we have is 01.17.04

If you have a newer version, let me know!

Re: Raid Manager level

None of those commands have worked. Anything else to try.

Re: Raid Manager level

What do you mean none of those commands have worked? What message did you get?

Are you sure you have RAIDManager installed?

What does ll /opt/HORCM/bin/ give you?

David.

Re: Raid Manager level

Hi,

Im also a little confused that these commands are not working. Essentially most RAID Manager commands have a -h option which will give you the version of RAID Manager that you are "running".

If you do have RM installed it might also be worth while making sure that your horcm daemons are running.

Re: Raid Manager level

Apology, that should read:

"What does ll /opt/HORCM/usr/bin/ give you?"
NOT
"What does ll /opt/HORCM/bin/ give you?"

Regards,
David.
