Raid control 5i

I have a dl380 g2. It sees the 5i controler but no hard drives. Scsi controler sees the 3 drives I have installed. I went through the smartstart disk, it also doesn't see any hard drives. OS is not important at this time. I don't know which one I will go with. How do I get the raid controler 5i to see my hard drives?

What is the internal drive cage connected to ? It sounds like it's connected to a secondary SCSI controller rather than the onboard 5i controller...
