Raid disk speed drops down after Raid5 build

Hello,
I got a performance problem with my raid array.
After i upgraded my raid-array from Raid1 to Raid5 including one more disk, i noticed that my disk speed drops down to 5 MB/s.

I checked the array configuration utillity all 3 drives and found this information:
Disk1: Ultra 320 Wide / 320 MB/s
Disk2: Ultra 3 Wide / 160 MB/s
Disk3: Async Narrow / 5 MB/s

All three disks are Ultra 320 Wide 72,8 GB connected in simplex mode on 1 Port.

Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

I don't think you've done something wrong.

The problem is:

The embedded SmartArray 6i RAID controller had a problem to properly negotioate the speed with Disk3. As far as I can tell, you cannot ask it to try it again - you have to reboot the server.

hmm, i rebootet several times with no effect.

Then it is time to check the problem with ADU (the Array Diagnostic System).

Or try to narrow it yourself:
- power off and move Disk3 to a different bay
- swap BD07288277 with a different disk

I cant find any helpful information. Maybe you will see something in there.
Another bay i will try in some hours.

solved my problem.

the internal scsi cable wich was connected to bay 1 and 2 was not working correctly.
after i replaced it with a new one, i got my full speed back 360 Mb/s.
