Rebuild Priority Settings
Putting a Compaq server together for an MS Exchange migration. Struggling with deciding what "Rebuild Priority" to go with. If set to high, will this possibly cause corruption within Exchange and the database? Pros and cons of low, medium, and high settings?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Rebuild Priority Settings
Rebuild Priority should not cause (or prevent) corruption... It should only effect performance during a rebuild. Setting to high priority will result in a reasonably quick rebuild, but users may notice a DEFINITE drop in server speed. Low priority will slow the rebuild process, but allow the server to deal with normal business more quickly.
