Replace 6400 and 6402 battery
Yes I have updated the firmware on my 6400 controller. Still getting the low battery notification.
I have two 6400 cards in my linux kernel 2.4 box.
Where can I obtain a battery replacement for these cards ?
What is the part number?

Re: Replace 6400 and 6402 battery
Hi Todd,
Have you given the controller 48-72 hours to fully chrage the battery after the firmware upgrade? You will continue to receive these messages until the battery is fully charged.
If you have given the required time frame to charge the batteries you can call technical support at 1-800-474-6836.
If you do have a failed battery technical support will need to see a copy of an Array Diagnostic Report to determine which battery on the controller has failed. Please have that ready when you call in.
Thanks,
Jake Zeeman
