One thing I just noticed, Disk A3 is firmware HP04, whereas the rest of the disks are HP01. Not sure if that makes any difference, but wanted to point it out in case someone knew anything about issues with firmware differences.

The rebuild priority is set to 'HIGH', and autorebuild is ON, but if the disk has been previously used, i beleive you have to start a manual rebuild from the front panel of the 12H. First change the rebuild priority to low, so that you don't take a major performance hit.

Ok thanks for all of the help. The disk finally started acting normally after I copied a large amount of data around. The replacemenmt disk must have not had a whole lot of data accross it to begine with ? It's chunking along now.
