yes you can but the logical drive in the RAID5 array will not be bigger. You will see some unused space.

you'll have to create a logical drive first in that new free space. I am not sure anymore if this worked fine when rebuilding onto bigger disks, but if it does then the space will be visible in the OS (Windows in this case) as a new disk in disk management.
So, since it is another/additional) logical drive, it is not seen as unused space at the end of the first Windows disk but it is seen as another disk (i.e. disk 1).
