Re: Replication Problem, using EVA Continuous access

Shalom,

The windows based EVA controller assigns disk by world wide name. This is like a MAC address and is unique to each HBA card. Most likely the data LUN is assigned to the now gone machine's HBA's WWN.

Re: Replication Problem, using EVA Continuous access

Hi thanks for your reply. We have given the same name to formatted server, as well as given the same WWN of old server. The server is same and only thing we have done is formatted and re-installed the operating system. Now the problem started happening with other servers also.

Previosuly the controller had xcs 5031 firmware, now I have upgraded to XCS 5110, and upgraded command view to 5.0. But still we are using RSM 1.2version. Is it to do with RSM version, From the help of RSM 1.2 I found that it supports EVA with firmware 5031. Will my problem get resolved if I download and upgrade RSM to 2.3 Version.
Please help
