Is there any possibility of converting the SMA of EVA5000 to Standard Windows Server for Storage Management purposes???

Hi,

SMA has customized OS. You can install any OS on it without issues, the only drawback is HP will not support OS related issues.
Hardware will still be supported.

Hi,

Yes, you can install "standard" Windows on an SMA in order to convert it to a SMS.
