SSA 70 Firmware Update Problem
Hi,
I have a C7000 with a mix of blades in. The Blades are powered off.
I have been trying to use the VSM to update the Firmware on a SSA 70. I'm failing. I get an error
452 A communication failure has occurred in Storage Enclosure at Port:51 Box:1.
We have 2 SSA 70's it happens exactly the same on both chasis.
The chasis has 2 HP 6Gb SAS BL Switchs both using FW 4.10
If I go to the active switch and select update storage enclosure firmware the upload begins and then pretty much immediately quits. I am trying to use

Your problem may be due to the "SSA70" controllers you have. I dont think they are compatible in the SAS switch environment. See these posts for more info on a similar problem:
