Please Help me !!!
My /u01 is also on EVA and when this error happens the /u01 will go in umount state.

Re: Secure Path Problem

Since you are having too many path failures at once, I am suspecting either a fiberoptic cable or a FC HBA on either end is going bad, maybe intermittently. It is hard to tell.

Re: Secure Path Problem

Hi

I think it is problem with your HBA.

Re: Secure Path Problem

Hi,

How about the physical connectivity and the EVA. How it is configured.

What about the sanswitch?

Re: Secure Path Problem

Hi There
The EVA and SAN Switch is pretending to be OK because except this server i have tow other server which is connected to the EVA and SAN Switch and at that time nothing happend to other servers?????
Is It Ok to change The HBA and Fiber Cables???
I changed those before!!!!!!!

Re: Secure Path Problem

Dear All
Thanks alot
I think the problem is My Eva Host Ports...

Re: Secure Path Problem

Why the host ports? surely if you have other Hosts running ok this is not the case. Log in to your switch and see if there are connection issues on the port going to the Host with the connection issue and then check the port going to the EVA host port, this will tell you which side of the SAN switch the issue lies. You say you swapped the FC cable and the HBA, what about the SFPs they are more likely to be an issue than the EVA host port.

Re: Secure Path Problem

Thank you everybody
The problem was EVA Controllers ...
I changed them and everythings are OK now.
