Have a couple servers with SA-5300 cards installed that are connected to 3 different drive array shelves. The SA-5300 are starting to show there age and need to be replaced. The replacement cards I have available are the SA-6404.
When I attempt to replace the 5300 with the 6404 the 6404 does not find the 3rd drive shelf. The 6404 is actually 2 controllers on the same card, each controller controlling 2 of the 4 ports. The 5300 had one controller controlling all 4 ports.
Anyone know of a document spelling out how to do this type of migration? Or even know how to do it?

Hi,
I've not read it in detail, but this document appears as though it should help you out...

Cheers,
Rob
