Smart Array Controller 641

My predecessor set up a server with 2 logical drives, named C and D on windows disk manager, and 1 and 2 in the HP Smart Arry controller.

SA #1 consists of one physical drive (RAID 0) and SA#2 has two physical drives (mirrored)

I need to figure out which logical drive in windows corresponds to which smart array system in order to implement a disaster recovery plan and improve performance.

Please help.

Karin

Re: Smart Array Controller 641

Hi Karin
Go to ACU select "physical view" and highlight the disks one at a time, the one selected should light up. You can also right click the info box next to the logical drive in windows disk manager and select properties to get the LUN info on a volume to help with identification.
