Re: Smart Array - rx6600 - array not resync

More info:
The disk to resync: /dev/rdsk/c8t1d0 (bay 5), mirror disk, but not resync.

Re: Smart Array - rx6600 - array not resync

First I would try with these steps:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&objectID=c02741225&jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

If this doesn't work, I would consider to add the new drive as a hot spare.

If you are in doubt, consider to ask HP for help.

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Smart Array - rx6600 - array not resync

I solved.

Go to EFI
Example:

drvcfg -s 29 2C

Go to the missind disk array

add hot spare disk to array

option sync disks

Wait

after i remove the hot spare and the array resync disks.

need a reboot

Re: Smart Array - rx6600 - array not resync

You can also add a spare online, by the way.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
