SmartArray P212 and SATA drives-Cable does not fit

Hello all. 

Recently we have purchased an HP ML110G6 and it came with a P212 RAID controller, and 4 plain 1.5TB SATA drives. It also came with a SAS to 4xSATA cable. My problem is that I can't take the risk to connect the cable to the controller, because its plug seems to big to fit, and it overlaps with the memory module. I attach pictures for your convenience, and would appreciate if someone provides some help. I am not even sure if the cable is the correct one, but it was sent to us by HP herself.

I don't know the answer but I think it will be a bit easier for someone else to find the answer if they have the part number of the cable you got from HP.

RAID card: 462834-B21

My cable: 487734-B21 or 487736-001

HP claims this is not the right cable, and they suggest the following:

496014-B21 - HP Mini SAS to Mini SAS 33in Cable

However as I said, I have 4 disks. I am not sure if this cable is proper.
