These messages started being emailed by the storage agents connected to the SAN

Then back to the first message.

Everything I can find seems to say everything is ok but I really just want to make sure those messages aren't leading to a bigger problem.

What's occurring is the cache is enabled/disabled.

We disable/enable cache when making configuration changes. If no changes, then we have to look at the batteries. You could have a cell going bad.

What version of FW.

You could monitor the debug output, at the cli prompt, do a >set debug on
This will output array msgs and will pinpoint the suspect battery.

Based off the your data, it's occurring every few hours.
