Re: Storage Management server Login Details
Hi,
Can you confirm exactly what you've got please...
An SMA (Storage Management Appliance) is a dedicated appliance that runs Command View EVA. The default administrator password on those is admin followed by the last 6 characters of the appliance serial number in reverse.
An SMS (Storage Management Server) is a general purpose server that runs Command View EVA. As you menition new server, I suspect that it is this that you have.
In this case, the administrator password will be whatever you set it to when the server was built. Versions of Command View EVA >= 6.0 use OS authentication.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Rob

Re: Storage Management server Login Details
For a pre-installed server, try Administrator/hpinvent - this may be the default.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
