StorageWorks D2700 ACU can't see physical drives
hello, I have the same enclosure, although, I am unable to get the ACU to see the physical drives, it sees the controllers, but thats it.
How did you get it configured? Upon install, did you simply run the ACU and create a volume, and your OS recognized it?
I can't get Windows to access it from Disk Management, nor can I get any of the utilities to see the physical disks.
Its pretty bad.. I need help..

Re: Configuring StorageWorks D2700
@cnorton39 it is always better to open your own thread instead to append another thread with "me too".
However, this is a user to user forum, for official support contact HPE support.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Configuring StorageWorks D2700
Since this is a new thread now, consider the following:
You create some RAIDs in such a JBOD, then you switch the smart array controller into HBA mode.
All RAIDs are hidden now.
If all disks belong to RAIDS, all disks are hidden now.
So check the mode of the smart array.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
