Switching Smart Array controllers no problem?

On a DL380 I want to switch from the integrated Smart Array controller to a Smart Array 3200.

Will it automatically pick up the array?
I think I will back up all of my data to be safe but it would be great if I could simply plug it into the new controller and go with it. That's the "Smart" part about smart array isn't it?

I'm sure this has been posted on this site but I have been unable to find it.

Here is the document I think you want to read:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=115&prodSeriesId=332284&prodTypeId=329290&objectID=c00180566

The Integrated Smart Array Controller should be considered in the SmartArray 2 family.

This migration should work.
Enjoy!
