Tru64 5.1B Connectivity with XP512

Hi
I have GS160 System connected to XP512 Storage. I Have approx 200 Luns all allocated to GS160 Server.
What i have identified that there are around 15 luns which gives IO Error while trying to label/initalise them.
disklabel -r dsk168c works fine.

My issue:
1. I want to understand the mapping of the dsk numbers with the CU:LU so that I can do further troubleshooting on the lun.
2. do we have any script like xpinfo which will help me in creating the mapping list.

can anyone help me on this

Re: Tru64 5.1B Connectivity with XP512

Sorry to say, but my queries are not understood properly..

For point 1: From XP Point of view, i know the details and i dont require the Lun Manager Manual to be referred to.

What i want is how do i identifty from the OS in case if there is any issue on the LUN From OS Side.

I got the answer for the same, to check the wwn id of the dsk and the last 4 numbers will show me the CU:LU

Thanks for taking time to see my query

for Point 2: My query is still not answered

Check if the disks have scsi reservations, if so, clear them:

# scu -f /dev/rdisk/dsk10c
scu> show keys
Persistent Reservation Header:
Generation Value: 2
Additional Length: 16
Reservation Key List:
Key Entry 0: 0x10001
Key Entry 1: 0x10001

To remove the persistent reservations on a evice you can use scu to register a new key and then clear it which will remove all reservations:

scu> preserve register key 0 skey 1
scu> preserve clear key 1
scu> show keys
Persistent Reservation Header:
Generation Value: 4
Additional Length: 0
Reservation Key List:
