Two questions about XP12000 and SAN switch

1. What is the read/write block size of the XP12000?

2. How to monitor the flow the port of SAN switch?
Is there some commands in the San switch to do that?

1. I heard the cache to disk destaging is done at "256 x 2track x number of disks"

2. You could use the "portperfshow" command to see the port utilization.

i meant 256K x 2tracks x number of disks in the RAID group.

for monitoring the ports, you may use the web gui of the SAN switch. it gives a good visulization.
