Upgrade path from 3200 to 5302
Hi, Is it possible to upgrade Controller 3200 to 53xx series. What is the procedure like? I have tried once to upgrade 1 offline server but failed at boot time. " Invalid system drive" . Could anyone advise?

Re: Upgrade path from 3200 to 5302
There is no problem doing this. Your RAID will still be valid.
Try this: leave the scsi cable plugged into the 3200. Plug in the 5300 into a slot and boot into the operating system. Install the 5300 driver from the cd that was provided. Make sure the driver is started. Shut down the server and switch cables from the 3200 to the 5300. At first boot go into the F10 partition and set the 5300 as Boot Controller Order First. Save and exit and you should be good to go.
