Upgrading to EVA CV8

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade from CV EVA7.0 to CV EVA8, I have
uninstalled CV7 and rebooted server as per release notes but
when I try installing CV8 I get the following error message---

A privious master installer version(6.x.x/7.x.x)has been detected on the system.Uninstall the previous version and retry the installation.

Anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Prior to trying to install Command View 8, open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the following directory:

1. \Common Files\InstallShield\Universal.

2. Delete the VPD (Vital Product Data) directories named HP_MasterInstaller70, HP_MasterInstaller701, and HP_MasterInstaller6XX (if present).

Once this is done you can start the Command View 8 setup again.
