I have a Proliant ml-370 with a single scsi drive that I need to upgrade to Raid 5. Does anyone have a white paper on how to go about it or can point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Re: Upgrading to Raid 5
RAID0 to RAID5 is a viable upgrade path.
Assuming you have the single drive installed and configured on your RAID controller, you can simply add new drives. You can now opt to select all the drives including your old/existing and join them into a new RAID5 NOT add them to the existing RAID0. The controller will take over to add the new drives to the set and strip the data across the new set.
