Urgent:HP EVA BC: how to find disk device names for BC snapshots on AIX
Hello,
I'm using HP EVA business copy for taking snapshots of EVA vdisks. After I present the snapshot to an AIX machine with LVM, I need to find out the disk device name on the host programmatically and then use recreatevg command.
I was hoping to match the UUID of the snapshot to the one of LVM disk devices and then get corresponding disk name. I'm new to AIX LVM and could not find an appropriate AIX lvm command to do so. Also it seems there is no SSSU command which can directly give this mapping.
Any urgent help to find out this mapping is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Yojana
