Hi,
Can anyone teach me how to configure raid 1 and one hot spare for a 3 x 73GB disk. Please advice with command and steps???

I can give you the software steps. But its better to do this on the hardware.

lvextend -m 1 /lvol_name /mirror_disk.

the lvextend -m 1 will put you in raid 1 but does not give you a hot spare option.

You will need to create a raid 1 lun on the array and then modify the lun config for hot sparing or do it during creation of the lun.

Hi Vincent,

You need at least to have 4 disks into the box to be able to run.
Did you match this minimun configuration?

You can easily configure raid 1+0 and hotspare using commandiewSDM.
