Re: VA7400 and Brocade help with configuration
Wow Vincent!
I did your suggestion of insf -e and after doing that I go this with the armdiscover:
armdiscover
This could take several minutes ...
HP-A6189A /dev/rscsi/c10t0d0 00SG220J0082 MYHOSTNAME.BLAH.BLAH.mil
Wow...much further then what I got. I didn't know about that command and as I said - HP Tech got it up and running before so I didn't think this was necessary. I added the brocade.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I have to figure out where to go from here but I will do that on my own!
THANK YOU ALL.
Mike

Re: VA7400 and Brocade help with configuration
Mike, you might want to take a look at the ITRC forum etiquette regarding assigning points...

Re: VA7400 and Brocade help with configuration
You really should zone your brocade switch. If you are new to it. It most likely has a web interface. Default login/password is admin password. You will need to hook up a terminal and set the ip first, and it a network connection or use a crossover cable with a ip in the correct subnet.
