We have a VA7400 array with 73 x 73GB in auto raid. Yesterday we tried to copy from one lun to another about 15GB of files. The all process took 4H ?!?!?!?!? and the overall performance of the array was badly damage.
Any ideia of how to fix this bottleneck ?

Re: VA7400 performance
VA7400 is connected to a 2 x 1GB Brocade Switchs for redundancy and a SunSparc V880 Solaris Server v 8.0 with FC HBA's. What we have done was "mv" of one filesystem from one LUN to another one.
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: VA7400 performance
Thanks for your reply. As far as I know after firmware rev HP15 was introduced a new read pre-fetch algorithm in read cache that is disable by default. What will be the expected impact on overall performance if we turn it enable ?
