VA7410 redundancy groups
The VA7410 came preinstalled with 2 redundancy groups 1&2. Is there a way to use only one? My VA7110 has only one and it ends up having more usage space once I have it configured the way I want. I would like to configure the VA7410 in a similar fashion. I can't seem to be able to drop the reduncany group and start fresh. Not even sure it is possible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: VA7410 redundancy groups
The VA7100 and VA7110 has a single redundancy group, the VA7400 and VA7410 has 1 (all even drives, all add drives) - this is "hard wired".
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: VA7410 redundancy groups
Just in case you are running HP-UX, you can create several LUNs and put them all together into a VG and create a LVOL across these LUNs.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
