VA7410
Hello:
Is it possible to turn of the auto RAID feature on a 7410 and run say a RAID 1 configuration?
Also if anyone has any technical info at all on the VA7410 box and can post it that would be quite useful.
Thanks in advance.

Re: VA7410
Unfortunately this array looks like it has just been released. I don't see that the config your after would be much different to that of the 7400. You could start at the below link.

Anyone for a Mutiny ?

Re: VA7410
From the management standpoint the VA7410 works just like the VA7400. This means that during inital setup you can choose if you want to run the array in either RAID01 or AutoRaid. (Afterwards you can go from RAID01 to AutoRaid but not vice versa)
The main differences between the VA7410 and the (VA7400) are:
- 4 (2 FC Ports)
VA7410 info can be found at http://www.hp.com/products1/storage/products/disk_arrays/midrange/va7410/index.html
Find attached two VA7410 slides I created to show the details.
