VxVM DMP Support for EVA - Active-Active Arrays?
Has anyone ever inquired/gotten confirmation from either HP and/or Symantec (Veritas) IF EVA4/6/8K and VCS-Upgraded EVA3/5K that now support active-active controller functionality - now supports DMP?
Also, if an ASL (Array Support Library) is forthcoming?
Has anyone actualy tried VxVM with these arrays sans the ASL and see if DMP actually recognises the 4 paths (in the case of dual HBA connections)?
Reason I am asking is we are contemplating in upgrading our remaining EVA5000s to VCS 4.X.
Much Thanks!

Re: VxVM DMP Support for EVA - Active-Active Arrays?
I guess an ASL is indeed out already but is only for EVA 4/6/8K:

What about EVA3K/5K's upgraded to VCS 4.01 tomake them active-active arrays as well? Has anyone actually tried upgrading older EVA 5Ks to VCS 4.X and tried them with VxVM DMP or AutoPath (a.k.a SecurePath for Active/Active arrays)?
