What version of OS does EVA Management Appliance run?

What version of Windows does the EVA Storage Management Appliance run? Can it run other versions or does it have to run a certain version?

Hi Ron,

it is a customized version of Windows 2000 Advanced Server. And no, it cannot run other versions.

It is now possible to run CV-EVA on a separate managment server or application server with Windows 2003 EE, but not all software for the SMA is ready for this.
