XP12000 Configuration Question

A complete XP12K config (L1,L2,R1,R2) - 4 ACP Paris and Symmetric Population of the cabinets. My array config output (CVCLI> list array_config) shows however that my LDEVs are not spreadout equally amongst my ACP pairs! What should this tell me?

CV_CLI 30015 (R/W)> list array_config

Notw, ACP Pair4 has no LDEVs allocated to it whilst ACP Pair2 it seems only has 1 array group.

Anyone before I ask HP?

Re: XP12000 Configuration Question

It means your ACPs are loaded evenly, such that when your XP12K get hammered, ACP Pair1 will get used most.

You might want to reconsider re-laying your LDEVs. You are wasting resources.

Re: XP12000 Configuration Question

HP confirms that the above CVCLI output is erroneous. The LDEVs/array groups are indeed divvied up almost evenly amongst the ACP pairs. CVCLI it turns out is buggy when outputting certain configuration information.
