amutil and creating a hot spare

I need to set a disk as a hot spare on an old FC60. The disk is 3:3. The man page for amutil is immensely unhelpful.

Anyone know how to use amutil to assign a disk as a hot spare?

This is for HPUX 11.0

Did you try SAM? You will be able to do this from SAM-> disk devices

Don't trust sam. Especially for this.

Hi,

The "amutil" command can not be used for creating a hot spare. You need to use "ammgr" command as
# ammgr -h 3:3
