are 36gb drives supported in a rack storage/8

Does anyone know if 36gb (either 7200rpm or 10K rpm) drives are supported in a rack storage/8?

The /8 was discontinued over two years ago so my bet would be that HP will not officially support such a configuration.
The successor, /12, does support those drives so you are probably better off upgrading the whole rack.
