hi Gurus,
can any one help how to configure " auto trespass" in model 20 disk array.This is basically used for creating alternate link to VGs , so that in case of failure of one of the SP (Storage Processor) it will automatically switch to next path.actually i forgot the way. it was something like give Ctrl+Shift p in the grid menu in order to get the seaventh option.
any help will be appretiated
TIA

Re: auto trespass in HP Model20 disk array
option 5 -> change parameters
3 change SP parameters.
I have see another question regarding i/O performance from you. Try to assing some LU`s to SP A and others to SP B.
Then once you have stablised alternate links in your box ( after ioscan and insf, and vtgextend) , use vgreduce vg /dsk/.. and vgextend vg /dsk/.. to set the correct way for your SP`s for each disk.
Good luck

Re: auto trespass in HP Model20 disk array
the other question is not in this box. it is diff box and it is not connected to Disk Array.It is just connected to a box of JBODs. Since i am not facing any bottleneck in the disk side (sar -d shows a max of 10% busy on one disk).
thanks and rgds
