compatibility

Hi!
Is there anybody who knows if Array Controller Smart 2SL can be installed in Deskpro EP and if RAID5 can be created using it? I could not find any info about this controller on Compaq web... JB

JB, The Smart 2SL does support RAID5. Although the Smart Array Controllers are only supported in the Proliant servers. But you still may get it to work only if you aren't running W95/98/ME. There aren't any Array controller drivers for those OS's. You'd have to be running NT, Novell or something in the "server" realm.
