Storage Boards Cleanup
To make it easier to find information about HPE Storage products and solutions, we are doing spring cleaning. This includes consolidation of some older boards, and a simpler structure that more accurately reflects how people use HPE Storage.

Re: default disk group

Hi,

If there are no Vdisks in the default disk group, then you should just be able to delete it without ungrouping the disks first.

The only time that you can't delete a disk group is when it's the only one on the system.

Be aware though that deleting the default disk group may cause a resync of the controllers. I seem to recall reading an advisory on this recently, but can't find it again at the moment.

Cheers,

Rob
