deleting a single DR Group in EVA CA
If after creating and normalizing a DR Group in EVA CA you decide that you need to delete it, is there a way to do so without failing over or zoning out the entire destination array or otherwise affecting the other DR groups? CA Implementation Guide was unhelpful and all attempts to date have met with failure.
Just to make this interesting, source is EVA 5k (XCS3028) and destination is 8K (XCS6110) - sync replication same DC.

Re: deleting a single DR Group in EVA CA
You can delete a DR group at any time. Then you're asked if you want to keep the destination vdisk.
The only restrictions are that the destination vdisks must be unpresented, and the DR group must not be on suspended, logging, or failsafe-locked state.

Thanks. The customer had suspended the full copy and not informed me of that tid-bit. He will resume and re-try the delete during his maint period tonight.
Any known gotcha on GL to XL replication?

Re: deleting a single DR Group in EVA CA
Only that it can be only synchronous. Enhanced asynchronous only works between two XL arrays with firmware 6.xxx.
